This planner takes you from a high-level purpose, through setting meaningful and realistic goals, into mapping out your months, weeks, and days.
Step 1: cast vision
Cast a big-picture vision for where you are right now and where you want to go. Walk through writing a vision statement so you can start the process of deciding what matters most and where you want to use your precious resources of time and attention.
Step 2: Brainstorm
Dumping all the possibilities out on the table is a great way to explore all the potential options before you add anything new to your life. In many cases, the best idea isn’t the first one we write down. Pushing yourself to dream about goals that might be out of your comfort zone may lead to pleasantly surprising yourself.
Then choose just three goals (one habit, one rhythm, and one project) to focus on this quarter.
Step 3: Plan it out
Having a dream is a good thing, but dreams that never go anywhere end up being disappointments. Mapping out clear plans for achieving your goals is a simple, yet powerful step towards making them happen.

Reminding yourself of your vision and your intents is the most important part of staying on the goal-setting wagon. This step will help you plan your weeks and months so you can keep your goals going!

If you really want to change your habits and live with purpose, there’s no better way than surrounding yourself with a group of people on the same journey.
Change is hard, and we need all the help we can get. By getting vulnerable, sharing where you are and where you want to be with other people, and having others help you work your goals into your real life, you can see amazing things happen.
This guide is designed to take some of the work/intimidation out of doing Pace & Pattern with other people. Our hope is that this guide will help lay the basic foundation to get you started, and that you would then feel the freedom to adapt the guidelines here to your unique personalities and situations.
